šæ Personal Reflections
I first heard about Reiki after one of the most profound experiences of my life. At the time, I was dealing with a spirit attachment that was causing me emotional and energetic distressābut thatās a story for another day.
Once the spirit was released, someone recommended I try Reiki to help balance my energy centers and clear away lingering spiritual residue. I had never even heard of Reiki beforeābut something about it felt right.
āAs soon as the practitioner placed her hands above my head, I began to weepācompletely instinctively.ā
What followed was an experience unlike anything I expected. The energy felt like water and electricity swirling around and through me. When the session ended, I felt completely grounded and at peace.
Since then, Reiki has remained a part of my life. Some sessions bring deep emotional release; others offer just a gentle warmth or calm. But every session has brought healing in its own way.
š Eventually, I became a certified Reiki Master Practitionerāand now I offer distant sessions to others who feel called to explore this beautiful practice.
š® What Is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese healing technique developed by Mikao Usui. It works with the universal life force energyāsometimes called Chi, Ki, or Pranaāthat flows through all living beings.
āReikiā is often translated as āspiritually guided life force energy.ā
This gentle, non-invasive practice helps remove energetic blockages and restores balance on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.
ā How Reiki Works
A Reiki session typically involves:
- A practitioner channeling energy through their hands
- Light touch or hovering hands over the body
- A relaxing setting, with the recipient fully clothed
- A focus on clearing energetic blockages
š” Yes, it even works remotely!
Many people are surprised to learn that Reiki can be done from a distanceāand some find remote sessions even more powerful. As a practitioner, Iāve seen firsthand how effective distance healing can be when intention, focus, and energy align.
⨠The Benefits of Reiki
Here are just a few of the benefits people report:
- Deep relaxation and inner peace
- Reduced stress and anxiety
- Emotional clarity and release
- Greater spiritual awareness
- A balanced mind-body connection
āSome sessions felt like emotional earthquakes. Others? A quiet, subtle sense of warmth. Both are healing in their own way.ā
Itās important to note:
𩺠Reiki is not a replacement for medical treatment or mental health careābut it can be a powerful complement to both.
š Is Reiki Right for You?
If youāre:

I always sayātrust the nudge. Whether you seek out a local practitioner or join a distant session, Reiki has a way of showing up when youāre ready for it.
