The Heart Chakra
Open your heart to love, compassion, and connection.
The Heart Chakra, or Anahata Chakra, is the fourth chakra in the 7-chakra system. Located in the center of the chest, this energy center bridges the lower, physical chakras with the higher, spiritual chakras. It governs our ability to give and receive love—both to others and ourselves.
A balanced heart chakra helps us cultivate compassion, emotional healing, forgiveness, and deeper connection. Physically, it influences the heart, lungs, and upper back.

🎨 Color Therapy for the Heart Chakra
The heart chakra is associated with the color green, representing healing, love, growth, and renewal.
Try these ways to support heart chakra balance:
- Wear green clothing or carry green crystals like rose quartz, green aventurine, jade, or malachite
- Place a green crystal like aventurine or rose quartz (not green but works great) on your heart during meditation
- Eat green foods like leafy greens, cucumbers, or green apples
- Use essential oils like rose, geranium, or eucalyptus

🧘♀️ Simple Visualization
Sit or lie down comfortably. Place your hands over your heart. Close your eyes and imagine a gentle green light glowing from the center of your chest. With each inhale, feel this light grow warmer and brighter. With each exhale, release anything heavy that’s weighing on your heart—grief, judgment, old wounds. Let the green light expand and soften you, surrounding you with love and safety.
